The Strain ID app is available on the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Search for "Strain ID" or use the download links on our homepage. The app is free to download — sticker packs are sold separately.

You can use the core features without creating an account. However, a free account lets you sync your strain tracking data across multiple devices and keeps your history safe if you switch phones.

Open the Strain ID app and tap "Add Pack" or the + button. Point your camera at the QR code on your sticker pack sheet. The app will recognize it and load your sticker designs automatically. You only need to scan each pack once.

Make sure you're in a well-lit area and hold your camera steady about 6–8 inches from the code. Clean your camera lens and try again. If scanning still doesn't work, take a clear photo of the QR code and email it to hello@mystrainid.com — we'll activate your pack manually.

Each sticker pack contains 5 individual stickers plus one QR code card. The QR code unlocks the corresponding digital sticker designs in the app so you can assign each physical sticker to a strain.

Our stickers are made with a strong, flexible adhesive designed to stick to the smooth surfaces of standard vape cartridges and disposables. They're water-resistant and hold up to regular handling. For best results, apply to a clean, dry surface.

Each QR code can only be scanned and activated once. Once linked to your account or device, your sticker designs will always be available in the app. QR codes cannot be transferred to another account.

Standard shipping typically takes 5–7 business days within the US. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

All sales are final once a QR code has been scanned and activated. If your order arrives damaged, contains an error, or never arrives, contact us within 30 days of expected delivery at hello@mystrainid.com and we'll make it right.

After scanning your sticker pack, open the app and tap on the sticker you've placed on your vape. Use the strain search to find the strain name, then tap "Assign." You can add notes, rate the strain, and log effects from the same screen.

Absolutely — that's what Strain ID is designed for. You can have as many active stickers as you'd like. Your "My Strains" list shows all of your current vapes and the strains assigned to each one.

If you have a Strain ID account, your data is safely stored and will be restored when you reinstall and log back in. Without an account, data is stored locally on your device and will be lost if you delete the app. We recommend creating a free account to keep your data safe.

Email hello@mystrainid.com with the subject line "Delete My Account." We'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
